Reclined Neck Roll
Benefits: Reclined neck roll releases tension in the neck and upper shoulders. Bring your knees into your chest and cross your ankles. If this is uncomfortable, place your feet on the floor. Place your arms on the floor and out to the sides. Simply roll your head from side to side and allow the neck muscles to relax. Roll your head only as far as is comfortable for you. Avoid forcing your movement or pressing your head to the side. Attach your breath to your movement. Exhale to roll your head to one side, inhale to come back up and exhale to the other side. Repeat 5-10 times. Precautions: People with neck injuries should use caution when twisting your head and consult a medical professional before attempting to do this pose.
