Embryo Pose

Benefits: Embryo pose releases tension in the upper back and lets your shoulders rest. Provides a gentle and relaxing stretch to the thighs, hips, ankles and lower back.

From your child pose simply bring your hands around and place them by your feet. You should be tucked into a fetal position with your head resting or the floor or a blanket if the floor is not comfortable.

Relax your shoulders completely.

Precautions: People with knee injuries should place a folded blanket under the buttocks to lessen the angle of and the pressure on the bent knee. People with neck injuries should rest their head on a small pillow or folded blanket and be cautious with the bend of the neck.
